Lancashire Mead Company Thrud's Mead 70cl
Lancashire Mead Company Thrud's Mead
Thrud (meaning strength) is the daughter of Thor and the Goddess Sif in Norse mythology. Her name means ‘Power'.
As the second hopped mead from the Lancashire Mead Company, she was born from their Thor recipe which uses Citra hops.
- Lancashire Mead Company Thrud's Mead is a Metheglin (herbed honey mead) and uses blossom honey
- It has Bramling Cross hops added after the fermentation process
- It has a light, hoppy flavour with a dark fruit edge
- Suitable for those who like fruity drinks but still want to taste the mead
As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle.
