Lancashire Mead Company Thrud's Mead

Thrud (meaning strength) is the daughter of Thor and the Goddess Sif in Norse mythology. Her name means ā€˜Power'.Ā As the second hopped mead from the Lancashire Mead Company, she was born from their Thor recipe which uses Citra hops.

  • Lancashire Mead Company Thrud's Mead is a Metheglin (herbed honey mead) and uses blossom honey
  • It has Bramling Cross hops added after the fermentation process
  • It has a light, hoppy flavour with a dark fruit edge

As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle.
