La Fee Absinthe
La Fee Absinthe is a traditional French absinthe distilled with a range of herbs including grande wormwood, fennel and anise, following recipes rooted in 19th century Paris. Produced in association with the French Absinthe Museum, it is designed to reflect the classic character of the original absinthes once enjoyed in the cafes and salons of the Belle Epoque.
- The spirit has a vivid green colour derived from natural botanicals.
- On the nose it is highly aromatic, showing pronounced anise, fennel and herbal complexity.
- The palate is bold and full, with flavours of aniseed, fresh herbs, mint and a slight earthy bitterness from wormwood.
When diluted with iced water it develops the signature louche effect, turning opalescent while softening the intensity of flavour.
