This full-bodied red from Portugal's Douro Valley is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. It’s rich and structured, with ripe fruit, spice and velvety tannins. Aged six months in oak, it offers depth and balance with ageing potential.
Produced by Kopke at Quinta de Sao Luiz, the estate sits on the left bank of the Douro River in the Cima Corgo subregion. Known for its white-painted vineyard walls and steep schist terraces, the estate has been producing wines since 1922. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel, followed by oak ageing to enhance complexity.
