This small batch Kentucky straight bourbon comes from the historic Jim Beam distillery. It was created by Booker Noe and launched in 1992. The name honours the creek near where Abraham Lincoln grew up. Aged for a full nine years, it revives a bolder, more traditional style of American whiskey.
- Aromas of toasty oak, caramel sweetness and salty butter on granary toast.
- The palate is full and peppy, with dark chocolate, nut oil and gentle spice.
- A long finish, gently dry, carrying nut oils and warm vanilla spice.
Enjoy it neat, over a large ice cube, or in a classic Old Fashioned. It pairs well with grilled steak, smoked brisket or a wedge of aged cheddar.
