Hawksbill Banana Spiced Rum
This tropical spiced rum combines Guyanese and Trinidadian rums with banana peel and warming Caribbean spices. The banana peel comes from fruit that would otherwise have gone to waste.
- The nose brings ripe banana, vanilla and soft butterscotch sweetness.
- The palate develops syrupy peach, banana and creamy vanilla flavours.
- Nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and cardamom add gentle warmth through the finish.
- A touch of sea salt helps balance the fruit and spice.
The result is rich, fruity and softly spiced without becoming overly heavy. Bottled at 37.5% ABV, it works well neat, over ice or with mixers. Try it in a Banana Daiquiri with fresh lime and sugar syrup.
