The single vineyard Costeggiola is situated in a prime spot on stony volcanic soils, overlooking the Soave Classico a wine region in Italy and right next to the famous la rocca vineyard of Pieropan.
Grapes are harvested by hand from only the most mature vines, before undergoing fermentation and lees ageing in stainless steel vats.
This is a dry, perfumed white wine with flavours of fresh apricot, white peach, pear, and a touch of honey and blossom.
Best served lightly chilled with white meats or fish, smoked salmon, shellfish, or goats cheese.
