Guado al Tasso is one of the foremost wines of the Bolgheri DOC and one of the most prized in the Antinori portfolio. The vineyards have the perfect combination of intense sunlight exposure and maritime sea breezes, resulting in wines that combine both fruit intensity and elegance.
This Super Tuscan is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and occasionally a small amount of Petit Verdot.
The 2019 Guado al Tasso is an intense ruby red color. The nose hass alluring aromas of tobacco, licorice, dark plums, balsamic, and roasted coffee. The palate is characterised by precision and purity, with perfectly integrated tannins and a savoury finish. This is a wine with great ageing potential.
