Part of the prestigious Gonzalez Byass Superior Range, Vina AB Seco Amontillado is a premium sherry crafted exclusively from 100% Palomino grapes grown in the Jerez Superior vineyards. This young amontillado undergoes both ageing under flor and oxidative ageing, showcasing the house’s mastery of traditional sherry-making techniques.
- The wine displays a light amber colour, a result of its contact with oxygen during maturation
- The nose is subtle and delicate, with aromas of hazelnuts and gentle yeast notes from its time under flor
- On the palate, Vina AB reveals hints of oak from its 12 years in cask, balanced acidity
- Long, refined finish with a slight saline edge and gentle bitterness
Serve chilled at 8–12 °C in a small wine glass to fully appreciate its complex bouquet. Its versatility makes it ideal with charcuterie, duck, consommé, hard cheeses, and nuts.
