GlenAllachie 8 Year Old Scottish Virgin Oak Whisky

This rare Highland single malt is part of the acclaimed Virgin Oak Series, released by GlenAllachie on 21st March 2023. First matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky is then given a distinctive twist with a secondary maturation in Scottish virgin oak casks.

These casks are crafted from rare Sessile oak trees sourced along Scotland’s Atlantic coast, wood seldom used due to its dense grain, high cost and natural knots. The result is a complex, sweet and subtly spiced malt that highlights the craftsmanship behind small-batch Scotch whisky.
