Frederic Magnien Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes 2019 75cl
Frederic Magnien Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes
This elegant Pinot Noir is crafted by Frederic Magnien, a fifth-generation winemaker based in Morey-Saint-Denis. Known for his biodynamic approach and minimal intervention philosophy, Magnien uses clay amphorae and indigenous yeasts to enhance terroir expression. The wine is sourced from three lieux-dits—Les Condemennes, Les Babillieres, and Les Danguerrins—with vines averaging 50–60 years of age.
Fermentation is natural, and ageing takes place in a mix of neutral oak and clay amphorae, preserving purity and finesse while adding subtle texture.
- Sleek and perfumed with bright red berry fruit and spice
