Foursquare Convocation is the 28th release in the Exceptional Cask Selection series from Barbados’ Foursquare Distillery. This is a 14-year-old rum, bottled at 62% ABV, and made using three components: one aged in bourbon casks, one in Madeira casks, and a third matured in both.
- Aromas of sultanas, pineapple, and orange peel, followed by light butterscotch, nutmeg, and ginger.
- The palate brings green banana, ripe plum, and toffee, with noticeable fruit sweetness.
- Finishes long and drying with oak, dates, raisins, and cinnamon spice.
Pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, dried fruit desserts, or slow-cooked spiced pork.
