Dog Point Pinot Noir
This New Zealand Pinot Noir is a refined expression from Marlborough’s clay hill slopes. Crafted from six distinct clones, some dating back to 1983, the grapes are carefully cropped, hand-harvested, and hand-sorted to preserve optimal ripeness.
A portion of whole bunches is included in fermentation, which occurs naturally in small stainless steel open-top fermenters over 2–3 weeks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, 30% new, for 18 months.
