This expressive red wine from Bierzo, Spain, is made from old-vine Mencía grown biodynamically on steep slate soils. Aged for 10 months in large oak vats, it offers a vibrant, mineral-driven profile with floral lift and layered fruit. The wine is certified organic and vegetarian.
Descendientes de J. Palacios is a joint venture between Alvaro Palacios and his nephew Ricardo Perez. Their vineyards span over 300 plots around Corullon, Bierzo’s highest and most complex zone. Farming is biodynamic, and winemaking is minimal intervention, focused on purity and terroir.
