Courvoisier’s master blender, Patrice Pinet was tasked with creating a Cognac that was the perfect blend of Fins Bois de Jamac like the Cognac King Edward VII commissioned and Grande Champagne. The result is an XO Cognac that has a delicate bouquet of floral notes leading into a rich, full-bodied palate with complex notes of hazelnuts, honey and subtle spice. The rich complexity of Courvoisier XO Royal Cognac allows it to pair perfectly with heavy, well-seasoned food such as poultry with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce.
