Produced in the hills of Montalcino, this biodynamic red is made from 100% Sangiovese. Corte Pavone, owned by the Loacker family since 1996, was converted to organic and biodynamic farming by Rainer Loacker, a pioneer in natural viticulture. The estate uses homeopathic treatments and minimal intervention to preserve purity and terroir.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and wooden vats, followed by 16 months of ageing in large barrels and barriques. The wine is unfiltered and unfined. It is certified vegan and vegetarian friendly.
