Connemara is produced in County Louth by Cooley Distillery, a leading force in Ireland’s modern whiskey revival. Inspired by historic Irish peat-smoking traditions, it remains the country’s most widely available peated single malt whiskey.

Malted barley is dried over peat fires before double distillation, creating distinctive smoky character without overwhelming sweetness. Careful maturation preserves the whiskey’s gentle texture, balancing soft vanilla oak with earthy coastal notes.
