This rich Bordeaux red comes from Chateau La Fleur de Bouard, a 25-hectare estate in Lalande-de-Pomerol, founded in 1998 by Hubert de Bouard of Chateau Angelus. The vineyard sits on gravel-clay soils and is planted mainly with Merlot, supported by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate uses modern winemaking techniques, including gravity-fed vinification and ageing in 75–80% new French oak for up to 24 months
