Sammarco is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grown in the historic Conca d’Oro of Panzano, where Castello dei Rampolla has farmed organically and biodynamically for decades. Fermented in concrete before ageing 12–15 months in oak and extended bottle refinement, making it ideal with red meats and aged cheeses.
- Aromas of woodland undergrowth, ripe dark fruits, mineral tones and subtle tobacco.
- Tasting notes of concentrated blackcurrant, dense structure, rich texture and refined purity.
- Finish is powerful, long, firmly tannic and built for ageing.
