Produced by Schenk Italian wineries, Casali del Barone Barbaresco DOCG is a great example of this iconic Italian wine. Made from the Nebbiolo grape renowned for its great tanins, fruitiness and perfumed aroma, Barbaresco is often described a junior Barolo.
Casali del Barone Barbaresco has elegant and complex aromas with hints violet and red fruit, delicate spice and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is intense and rich with red fruit and a touch of spice. Well balanced and velvety, it has soft tannins and a nice freshness.
Ideal with roasted, stewed or braised red meat.
