Penderyn Distillery was founded in 2000 and became the first Welsh whisky producer in over a century. Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it uses natural spring water and a unique copper still to produce exceptionally pure spirits. The distillery is known for its award-winning single malts and innovative gin range.
Brecon Chocolate Orange Gin was launched in 2019 as part of Penderyn’s flavoured gin series. It is built on the Brecon Special Reserve base and infused with natural cocoa and orange peel. The label design was inspired by botanical illustrations researched at Kew Gardens and created by illustrator Andrew Davidson.
