Bowmore 21 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask Whisky

Founded in 1779, Bowmore Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest licensed distilleries and a benchmark for elegant Islay whisky. Unlike many heavily peated Islay malts, Bowmore is celebrated for its balance of smoke, tropical fruit, coastal salinity and refined maturity.

Bowmore’s older age statements have long been prized by whisky collectors, and the 21-Year-Old Sherry Oak Cask stands out as one of the distillery’s most celebrated modern releases. Named the World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards. The extended maturation adds remarkable texture and complexity, while the Pedro Ximenez finish contributes luxurious layers of dried fruit, treacle and spice without masking Bowmore’s distinctive maritime character.

• The nose is elegant and layered with tobacco leaves, heather, beeswax, rich toffee treacle and warming spice, wrapped in Bowmore's subtle coastal character.
• The palate is velvety and complex with sweet toffee, vanilla, treacle, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, red berries and barbecued notes, lifted by a whisper of salty Islay smoke.
• The finish is long, warming and beautifully rounded, with lingering sweet oak, soft spice and gentle smoke that fades gracefully.
