Boekenhoutskloof Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the depth and structure of South Africa’s leading red wine region. The grapes come from selected vineyards on the Helderberg and Vlottenburg slopes, where decomposed granite, sandstone and maritime influences shape the wine’s character. Cool coastal breezes from False Bay help preserve freshness and contribute to its distinctive graphite-like minerality.

The wine is fermented in tulip-shaped concrete tanks before ageing for 22 months in French oak, including 60% new barrels. This careful approach builds structure while allowing the dark fruit and vineyard character to remain prominent.
