Aultmore 15 Year Old Dry Marsala Finish is an elegant Speyside single malt that combines the distillery’s fresh, grassy character with the distinctive influence of dry Marsala casks. The whisky is matured before receiving a six month finish in Marsala Vergine Riserva Oro casks, bringing additional depth, spice and structure.
- Aultmore 15 Year Old opens with baked apples, tangy quince and ripe orchard fruit.
- Notes of roasted almonds, cloves and sweet malt develop alongside subtle citrus and dried fruit.
- Dark chocolate, gentle oak spice and a refined dry Marsala character bring depth to the lingering finish.
The result is a whisky that remains recognisably Aultmore while gaining extra richness and complexity from the Sicilian fortified wine casks. Unlike sweeter wine finishes, the dry Marsala influence brings a more structured and savoury character.
