Chateau de Montifaud XO Cognac is an outstanding gift, produced by a family-run house established in 1837 in Grande Champagne. This region is considered the finest for Cognac, known for its chalky soils and exceptional ageing potential.
The Cognac is made exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes, distilled twice in traditional copper stills to preserve purity and character. It is matured for decades in French oak barrels, allowing slow development of flavour and complexity. This extended ageing qualifies it as XO, or Extra Old, reserved for Cognacs of superior maturity.
