Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s most respected family domaines, founded in Beaune in 1880. Today, it spans 100 hectares. This Saint Veran is made from Chardonnay grown in the Maconnais, just north of Beaujolais, on Jurassic limestone soils.
The wine is certified organic and biodynamic, with grapes sourced from long-term partners. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and large oak barrels, followed by ageing for up to ten months. The result is a wine that reflects its southern Burgundian terroir with clarity.
