This refined Premier Cru Pinot Noir comes from the eastern slopes of Santenay, Burgundy, where Domaine Rene Lequin-Colin has farmed organically since 2009. The La Comme vineyard, planted over 45 years ago, sits on clay and oolitic limestone soils, offering both richness and structure. François Lequin oversees the estate with a focus on authenticity and minimal intervention.
Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts in French oak barriques, with only 10–20% new oak. The red wine is aged for 12 months in barrel followed by 3 months in stainless steel, preserving freshness while adding depth and finesse.
