Domaine Ferret has produced Chardonnay in Pouilly-Fuisse since 1840, now under the ownership of Maison Louis Jadot. This cuvée comes from a Premier Cru vineyard planted between 1955 and 1964 in the Fuissé amphitheatre.
The site is known for chalky clay soils that give the wine its mineral character. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, 25% new, followed by ageing on lees in stainless steel for 9 months. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
