This is a classic Chablis made from 100% Chardonnay grown on fossil-rich soils in northern Burgundy. Domaine de la Motte is a 25-hectare family estate, now run by Bernard Michaut and his son Adrien. They are best-known for producing crisp, mineral-driven wines.
Grapes are machine harvested to preserve freshness, then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is matured on lees before bottling. The estate is HVE Level 3 certified, reflecting its commitment to sustainable viticulture.
