This is a white Burgundy wine made from 100% Chardonnay grown in the Cote Chalonnaise village of Rully. Domaine Chanson, founded in 1750 and now owned by the Bollinger family, is one of Burgundy’s most respected producers. Their holdings include 43 hectares of vineyards, with a strong focus on Premier Cru sites.
The grapes are cooled immediately after harvest to preserve freshness, then vinified in a gravity-fed winery. A portion of the wine is aged in oak casks within a medieval bastion, maintaining ideal conditions for maturation. Farming is largely organic, and the estate holds High Environmental Value certification.
