This light-bodied Pinot Noir from Marlborough is made from fruit grown in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. It’s elegant, layered and fruit-forward, with fine tannins and bright acidity. Aged in French oak barriques, it shows purity and structure typical of the region’s cool climate.
Villa Maria is a family-owned winery founded in 1961 by Sir George Fistonich. The Reserve Pinot Noir is crafted using a minimal intervention approach, with fruit from clay-rich soils in Ben Morven and silt-loess soils near the Awatere River. The wine is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
