Vilafonte Series M
This Merlot-led red blend is crafted in South Africa’s Paarl region, where ancient soils and low-yielding vines produce concentrated fruit. The blend includes Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Grapes are picked early for freshness and fermented in stainless steel and oak. The wine is aged for 22 months in French oak (12% new) to build texture and depth.
Vilafonte is a partnership between Mike Ratcliffe, Zelma Long and Dr Phil Freese. Series M is their softer, more expressive Bordeaux-style blend, focused on finesse and balance.

Pairs well with lamb tagine, mushroom risotto and aged Pecorino.
