This dry red wine blend from Trentino-Alto Adige is a Bordeaux style wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenère. It’s medium-bodied with ripe fruit, herbal spice and polished tannins. A versatile, food-friendly wine with Alpine freshness.
Tenuta San Leonardo is a historic estate in Trentino, run by the Guerrieri Gonzaga family since 1724. Inspired by Sassicaia, Marchese Carlo introduced Bordeaux varieties in the 1970s. The estate is fully organic and uses biodynamic practices. Grapes are fermented with wild yeast in concrete vats, and 20% of the wine is aged in French oak for six months.
