Teliani Valley is a Georgian winery with roots dating back to the 1800s, now driven by a new generation of winemakers focused on innovation and authenticity. The Glekhuri range showcases traditional Georgian winemaking using Qvevri — large clay amphorae buried underground. Grapes are sourced from Kisiskhevi, a superior sub-region within Kakheti, known for producing high-quality Saperavi.
Fermentation takes place in Qvevri, allowing for natural temperature control and micro-oxygenation. The wine is unfiltered, preserving its full character and structure. This method results in a deeply coloured, complex red with vibrant fruit and earthy depth, designed to age gracefully.
