This premium South African Chardonnay originates from the historic Rupert & Rothschild estate in the Franschhoek Valley. Crafted from 14-year-old vines, it is one of the best alternatives to Burgundian wines at a more affordable price.
Grapes are hand-harvested and gently whole-bunch pressed, using only free-run juice. The wine matures for eleven months in French oak barrels and large foudres, giving it rich complexity.
