From the slopes of Monte Vulture in Basilicata, this single-vineyard Aglianico is grown in volcanic soils rich in clay, calcium, and tuff. The Serpara vineyard, meaning “place of snakes,” is the estate’s most prized site, offering ideal elevation and exposure for ripening. Fermentation is followed by ageing in a mix of new and used French Allier oak barrels. The wine is conventionally produced and filtered. It is not certified vegan or vegetarian.
