Nocturne Treeton Chardonnay
Julian Langworthy is one of the brightest winemaking talents in Australia, with countless awards to his name. He won the Jimmy Watson Trophy in 2014 and was named Halliday Best Winemaker in 2019. Nocturne is his solo venture, producing small quantities of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River’s finest sub-regions.
Nocturne wines are made with minimal intervention, indigenous yeast fermentation and zero fining. Treeton has warm days, cool nights and sandy soils, ideal for Chardonnay with natural acidity and finesse. Grapes are whole bunch pressed and aged on lees in puncheons for nine months before bottling.
