Founded in 1960, Montecalvo is one of southern Italy’s leading cooperatives, bringing together around 1,000 local growers. Its 1,800 hectares of vineyards stretch across the rolling hills north of Benevento in Campania. The area’s diverse soils, ranging from alluvial to volcanic, and its warm southern climate make it ideal for producing characterful, expressive wines.
Made from 100% Aglianico grapes cultivated on the chalky clay soils of the Benevento hills. This red wine reflects the bold personality of the region.
