Luis Seabra is a leading figure in Portuguese winemaking, focusing on old vines and minimal intervention. This wine originates from the Douro Valley, where mica schist soils and high-altitude vineyards shape its distinctive character.
The blend includes Rabigato, Gouveio, Codega and Viosinho from 30–45-year-old vines. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts, and ageing occurs for one year in used barrels and stainless steel.
