La Rioja Alta produces Vina Ardanza only in exceptional vintages. Tempranillo is sourced from 30-year-old vines in Rioja Alta, while Garnacha comes from La Pedriza in Rioja Oriental.
Each variety is aged separately in American oak barrels crafted by the winery, with Tempranillo spending 36 months and Garnacha 30 months in wood. After blending, the wine undergoes extended bottle ageing to enhance balance and longevity.
