This white Burgundy is made from Chardonnay grown on limestone slopes above the town of Beaune in the Cote de Beaune. Joseph Drouhin blends estate fruit with declassified wine from young vines in Clos des Mouches, one of their most prized vineyards.
The wine is fermented and aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, with only 10 to 15 percent new wood. Farming is biodynamic and organic, with a focus on soil health and biodiversity.
