Handcrafted from handpicked, late-harvested Conference and Comice pears grown in the fertile clay and loam soils of Herefordshire. Produced using the cryo-concentration method, this wine captures the pure essence of pear. Dragon Orchard, family-owned since 1887, combines traditional expertise with sustainable practices, ensuring every bottle reflects the exceptional Herefordshire terroir.
- The Evolution 1276 Pear Ice Wine is a rich amber-gold in the glass. Complex aromas of dried apricot, quince, raisins, and roasted hazelnuts.
- Palate is lush, viscous honeyed pear flavours, balanced with vibrant acidity for a clean, elegant mouthfeel.
- Finish is long and luscious, with lingering notes of dates, liquorice, and tangerine.
Pairs beautifully with chocolate desserts, treacle tart, and rich pastries. Also exceptional 1276 Wine with ewe’s milk cheeses such as Manchego or Berkeswell.
