Domaine Vacheron crafts this Sancerre from Sauvignon Blanc grown on flint and limestone soils in the Loire Valley. The estate has been family-run for over a century and is now led by cousins Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron.Their reputation for precision and respect for terroir makes this one of the most admired names in Sancerre.
Certified biodynamic since 2005, the domaine uses hand-harvesting and indigenous yeasts to preserve purity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and cement tanks, with ageing on fine lees for added depth. No synthetic chemicals are used in the vineyards, and all work follows natural cycles.
