Domaine Rene Lequin-Colin Back To The Roots Bourgogne Blanc

This white Burgundy is made from Chardonnay grown in organically farmed vineyards near the village of Santenay in Burgundy. The Lequin family have farmed here since 1679, with François Lequin now overseeing nine hectares across the Côte de Beaune. His approach focuses on site transparency, using minimal intervention to highlight the character of each vineyard parcel.

Grapes are hand-picked and pressed immediately before fermentation and ageing in oak barrels for up to sixteen months. Ten percent new oak is used, with regular lees stirring to build flavour and preserve freshness. The wine is bottled unfiltered and is certified organic and vegan.
