A refined and approachable red wine from Margaux, Bordeaux, this second label from Chateau Prieure-Lichine is crafted with the same care as the Grand Vin. The estate, once led by Alexis Lichine and now guided by consultant Stephane Derenoncourt and oenologist Etienne Charrier, has seen a marked rise in quality since its cellar renovation in 2013. Produced from younger vines, the wine reflects the elegance and softness typical of the Margaux appellation.
The blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon offers roundness and silky texture, with ageing potential of 5 to 10 years. It’s a wine that balances fruit, finesse, and structure, making it ideal for early enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
