This wine comes from Bairrada, a region known for its rich limestone soils. It is crafted mainly from Chardonnay with a small proportion of Arinto. The producer, Colinas de Sao Lourenco, focuses on precision and quality using dry-farmed vineyards and gravity-flow winemaking.
Fermentation begins in stainless steel before moving to French oak barrels, with 15% new wood, for six to nine months. Ageing continues in large used oak casks, and the wine is released after extended maturation, ensuring depth and balance.
