This medium-bodied red from Lebanon’s Mount Lebanon region is made from 100% Merlot grown at high altitude in the Bekaa Valley. It’s smooth, fruit-forward and unoaked, with ripe black fruit and subtle spice. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, it’s a versatile and easy-drinking wine.
Chateau Oumsiyat is a family-run estate led by Joseph Bou Sleiman, blending tradition with modern winemaking. Vines are planted at 1,200m elevation on sandstone-clay soils, benefiting from warm days and cool nights. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with selected yeasts, followed by gentle maceration and light filtration. The wine is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
