Casa Ferreirinha Papa Figos Douro Tinto
This medium-bodied red wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley is a blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Douro Superior, it’s fruit-forward, smooth and lightly oaked. Aged briefly in French oak, it offers freshness, balance and approachability.
Casa Ferreirinha was founded in 1952 and is now part of the Sogrape group. The Papa Figos label is named after the golden oriole, a rare migratory bird in the Douro. Grapes are selected from schist-rich soils, with 25% coming from the Quinta da Leda estate.
