Cartuxa Pera-Manca Tinto
This full-bodied red from Portugal’s Alentejo region is a blend of Aragonez and Trincadeira, sourced from old vines in the Evora sub-region. It’s powerful, structured and age-worthy, with deep fruit, spice and oak complexity. Produced only in exceptional vintages, it’s matured for 18 months in French oak and aged in bottle for three years before release.
Cartuxa is owned by the Eugenio de Almeida Foundation, a non-profit organisation supporting cultural and social initiatives. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in oak vats and aged in the cellars of the Cartuxa Monastery. The wine is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
