This full-bodied red wine from South Africa’s Western Cape is made from old-vine Shiraz grown in shale soils near Swartland. It’s bold and vibrant, with dark fruit and spice. Fermented with 30% whole stems and given a Ripasso-style treatment, it’s expressive and balanced. Aged three months in old French oak.
Produced by Moreno Wines in partnership with local growers, the wine reflects minimal intervention and a focus on fruit purity. The vines are over 60 years old, and fermentation in stainless steel preserves freshness. The wine is vegan-certified and bottled with a screwcap for convenience.
