Founded in 1385, Marchesi Antinori is one of Italy’s oldest and most prestigious wine producers, with 26 generations of winemaking heritage. The Peppoli estate, located in the heart of Chianti Classico, was acquired in 1985 and is dedicated to producing expressive wines that reflect the region’s historic terroir. The estate spans 100 hectares, with 50 under vine, and is known for its commitment to tradition and innovation.
Vinification includes separate fermentation of each grape variety in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels. A small portion is aged in barriques and stainless steel to preserve freshness. This process enhances structure while maintaining vibrant fruit character and balance.
